- RELIEF HOUSEPARENTS NEEDED
This position is live-in for the entire shift. The Relief Parent is the primary caregiver for the children living in campus homes. He/she is responsible for ensuring that a positive, healthy, and stable home life is maintained while also contributing to children's social, emotional, moral, and spiritual development.
This position is highly involved in the daily activities of the children. Activities include, but are not limited to, preparing meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) for up to 7 children, assisting with household chores, and transporting children to and from activities. Relief houseparent(s) are also involved in planning and engaging in activities with the children, such as off-campus trips and campus activities. Sunday church service attendance is required.
The campus is non-smoking. The Relief Houseparent earns $89 per day. All candidate must be 21 years of age or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Candidates must pass a legal background check and have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Employees will operate a company vehicle for resident transportation. Candidates must be able to pass all DCFS licensing requirements for the position. Good communications skills both verbal and written are required.
